  • "Hydraulic Elements and Systems" PLC
    is a successor of Factory for Hydraulic Components - Yambol, which was founded in 1968 as an affiliate of the state enterprise Machine-building factory “Hydravlika” - Kazanlak.
  • 1971
    In 1971 the Factory for Hydraulic Components became an independent factory within the State Economic group DSO “Hydravlika” and few years later, in 1976 it was reorganized into Hydraulic Components Plant to the name of “Ivan Tenev”.
  • 1991
    In 1991 the factory was transformed into a Joint-stock company, getting its present name: Hydraulic Elements and Systems. Six year later the factory was privatized and nowadays it is a 100% private company with majority shareholder Stara Planina Hold.
  • 1998
    In the post-privatization period the Company undergoes fast growth. In the period 1998-2011 the factory was totally reorganized through realization of several investment programs. This was also a period, when the organization implemented a system for an effective management of the business activities as well as a quality management system. As a result, the Company was able to adapt to the dynamically changing market conditions and became a factory with sustainable market positions.
  • 2006
    In 2006 the five year plan for a total organizational and technological development was finished. As a result the sales and the productivity were doubled compared to the beginning of the plan in 2002. A new system for effective management of the business actives and a system for quality control were introduced.
  • 2007
    In 2007 HES PLC succesfully completes an increase of its capital through public offering of new issue of shares on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (stock exchange code: 4HE).
  • 2011
    The gathered capital through public offering of shares was invested in another five year plan for total technological and organizational development. Main focus of the program was the modernization of the current and introducing new technological processes while expanding the effective production capacities.
  • 2013
    In 2013 in a partnership between HES PLC and M+S Hydraulic - Kazanlak, a new project has began. The main goal was to introduce a new type of production of axial piston pumps and motors. Two years later the first sales were realized.
  • 2018
    In 2018 HES PLC celebrates 50 years of it's foundation. As a result of the the tireless efforts of generations of engineers and technicians, the enterprise managed to adapt to the dynamically changing market conditions and became a plant with sustainable market positions.
HYDRAULIC ELEMENTS AND SYSTEMS PLC is a public stock company located in the town of Yambol, South-East Bulgaria. .

The factory has a long history and traditions in the design and manufacture of hydraulic cylinders. The company works exclusively according to customer’s specifications. The product range includes:
